Project 10073 Record: UFO Observation, Indianapolis, Indiana

This document is a collection of records pertaining to a UFO sighting reported by a 61-year-old civilian in Indianapolis, Indiana, on June 20, 1965. The witness, who describes himself as having 40 years of experience in supervision and timing operations, reported observing a round, translucent object with concentric and rotating lines. According to the report, the object was initially sighted in the East at 30 degrees elevation. It remained in view for approximately 25 seconds, during which time it 'jumped' to 45 degrees elevation toward the North, stopped for a few seconds, and then streaked across the sky to the West before disappearing. The witness estimated the object's speed prior to stopping at 125-150 mph and its altitude at over 10,000 feet.
