Red Ball Gliding Along

This document is a letter to the editor of the Canadian UFO Report, written by Mrs. Jack Graepner from Errington, British Columbia. The author recounts two primary UFO sightings. The first occurred in 1962 between the peaks of Mt. Arrowsmith. The second, more detailed sighting, occurred in May 1970. During this event, Mrs. Graepner observed a silent, red, ball-shaped object gliding slowly at low altitude near her home, which was situated near the Englishman's River Falls Park. She describes the object as resembling a shining red lamp. She was eventually able to alert her husband, and together they watched the object for approximately five minutes before it faded away. Mrs. Graepner also mentions a separate daytime sighting where she and her husband observed a bright, blinding light on the sidehills of Mt. Moriarty. Throughout the letter, the author reflects on the nature of these phenomena, speculating on the potential involvement of advanced civilizations or extraterrestrial beings, and expresses a personal belief that such sightings may be linked to historical or biblical accounts.
