Another UFO Seen At "Big G" Ranch

This report details a UFO sighting occurring on the night of February 7 or 8, 1968, at the 'Big G' Ranch in Lone Butte, British Columbia. The primary witness, identified as Grattan, was checking a diesel pump at a shed on the property when he observed a disc-shaped object hovering above a corral containing calves. Grattan estimated the object to be approximately 28 feet in diameter, featuring a dome on top with a dim light, and three or four windows around the base of the dome. He noted that the object was hovering about 40 feet above the ground, moving with a slow, wobbling motion. Underneath the object, he observed three equally spaced markings pointing toward the center. Grattan approached the object, standing almost directly beneath it, and attempted to signal it by waving his arms and shining a flashlight, but the object appeared to ignore him. He described the object as emitting a low, rhythmic noise, which he compared to an IBM computer. The report notes that the object did not appear to disturb the calves, and the author speculates that the UFO's purpose in the Cariboo region may have been to study the local animal life.
