The primary witness, a civilian, reported observing a circular object with red, yellow, and white colors, which appeared to have sharp prongs or rays of light. The object was described as hovering and then traveling from the southeast to the northwest, remaining visible for approximately 19 minutes. The witness, who had previously observed Echo satellites, noted that the object's brightness was comparable to an evening star and that its intensity remained constant. The investigation, led by Major Dale E. Graybill of the 305th Bomb Wing, concluded that the object was likely a satellite.
