Project 10073 Record — Beaver, Pennsylvania, 13 August 1965

This document contains reports from the 911th Troop Carrier Group regarding two UFO sightings in the vicinity of Baden and Beaver, Pennsylvania, on August 13, 1965. The first witness, a 37-year-old male, reported observing a disc-shaped craft approximately 300 feet in diameter at an altitude of 300 feet. He described the object as having 200 to 250 stationary orange lights, which were later joined by a blue light at the center. The witness reported experiencing a 'shock wave' and physical symptoms including severe eye burning and a sensation of being 'sunburned,' which a doctor later characterized as an 'Arc Welging' type burn. The second witness, a 30-year-old toll collector, reported a circular object sighted between 0100 and 0140 hours. He described the object as white, with red and blue lights that revolved clockwise and counter-clockwise. He also noted the object emitted a white streak of smoke that shot straight up. The official conclusion for the incident, recorded under Project 10073, suggests the sightings were likely astronomical bodies, noting that the reliability of the witnesses was uncertain.
