This document consists of a Project 10073 record card and associated military teletype messages regarding a UFO sighting reported on 7 May 1955 in Glenburnie, Maryland. A 67-year-old civilian witness reported observing a single white, circular object that remained stationary for several seconds before rising rapidly and disappearing into the cloud cover. The total duration of the observation was approximately 30 seconds. The report was processed by the 647th ACWRON and forwarded to the Air Defense Command and the Air Technical Intelligence Center. The Eastern Air Defense Force (EADF) evaluated the report and concluded that the object was a weather balloon. Because this conclusion was reached shortly after the preliminary report was received, the military determined that no further investigation was necessary.
