Sighting of Unusual Object

This document is a report dated 16 December 1960, addressed to the USAF regarding a sighting of an unusual object. The primary witness, identified as a doctor in dynamics and physics, reports observing a greenish, disc-shaped object on the evening of 14 December 1960 at approximately 6:54 pm. The witness describes the object as appearing at an elevation of 50 to 55 degrees, descending to 20 degrees, and moving at an angle to the vertical of about 10 degrees while traveling toward the south. The witness noted the object was incandescent and appeared to be at a very high temperature. The witness later discussed the sighting with his students, one of whom claimed to have seen the object while driving on Hines Drive, noting it was moving fast. A second student was also mentioned as having seen the object, though they had not yet been questioned. The primary witness, drawing on his professional background in physics and dynamics, speculated that the object might be related to a missile or similar technology due to its high velocity and temperature, explicitly stating that he did not consider it 'flying saucer stuff'.
