The second section, 'The Mysterious Ummo Affair—Part I' by Antonio Ribera, recounts the author's personal investigation into a series of reports and photographs originating in Spain. Ribera describes receiving communications from an individual named Julian Delgado, which led to an investigation of a network of people receiving 'Ummo reports.' The narrative details the involvement of Professor Fernando Sesma and the emergence of photographs of a craft over the Madrid suburban estate of San José de Valderas, which allegedly bore an emblem used to authenticate the Ummo documents.
