NUFORC Sightings Report: 08/1955

This document is a compilation of six UFO sighting reports from August 1955, sourced from the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC). The reports detail various aerial phenomena observed across the United States. On August 17, 1955, a disk-shaped object was observed in Covina, California, hovering at approximately 1500 feet for ten minutes. On August 15, 1955, an orange disk was reported in the night sky over Woodland Park, Colorado, while in Eagle Pass, Texas, a witness identified as Mr. Martin reported an encounter with a cigar-shaped object. On August 14, 1955, a light was observed in Madisonville, Kentucky, which reportedly traveled 50 miles without a driver. On August 8, 1955, a flaming ball of light was seen in Independence, Missouri, performing right-angle turns. Finally, on August 6, 1955, a round object was observed in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, moving from the bottom to the top of the moon in four seconds.
