NUFORC Sightings Report: 03/1983

This document is a compilation of ten UFO sighting reports recorded by the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) for the month of March 1983. The reports span various locations across the United States, including Bethel, Connecticut; Overbrook, Kansas; Yorktown Heights, New York; Milpitas, California; New York City, New York; Phoenixville, Pennsylvania; Mt. The reported phenomena vary significantly in description, ranging from a rectangular object in Bethel to a massive, silent, hexagonal-shaped craft in Overbrook, and a triangular formation of seven white lights in Yorktown Heights. Other reports describe circular objects, disks with pulsing lights, a 20-foot diameter sphere with a red grid pattern, and a 'grid/cage' light event. Witnesses reported diverse sensory experiences, including silent movement, musical sounds, and hovering behavior over water and residential areas. One entry for the Overbrook, Kansas sighting contains a noted discrepancy, referencing a date of March 4, 2002, despite the report being filed under the March 1983 summary.
