NUFORC Sightings Report: 01/1983

This document is a compilation of UFO sightings reported to the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) during January 1983. It lists six distinct incidents occurring across the United States. On January 4, 1983, in Oceanside, New York, two lights were observed moving together before fading and reappearing. On January 10, 1983, in Crosby, Texas, a cylinder-shaped object was reported in the context of several unexplained incidents involving family and friends during the early 1980s. On January 13, 1983, in Seattle, Washington, an orange sphere was observed leaving a stream of fluid that appeared to magnify the stars behind it. On January 20, 1983, in Glidden, Iowa, a light-shaped object was seen moving in horizontal and vertical lines with 90-degree turns. On January 21, 1983, in an unknown city in Arizona, a large chrome sphere was observed following a mountain top. Finally, on January 21, 1983, in Springfield, Vermont, a triangle-shaped object was reported overhead, accompanied by lights on its points and a whirring sound.
