This field report, titled 'Relatório No 1', documents a series of observations of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) occurring between June 8 and July 1, 1969, in the Bebedouro region of Pedro Leopoldo, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The primary incident took place on the early morning of June 9, 1969, at the farm of Colonel Aristides Salgado. A group of four observers—Afonso Peluso, Alcebíades Schmtiz de Castro, Angelo Heleodore dos Santos, and Zildo Heleodore dos Santos—conducted the observation using a Crown-8 mm camera loaded with AGPA-100 ASA film. The witnesses were motivated by reports from local residents and the farm's cowherd, José Honório, regarding strange occurrences in the area. At 03:30, the team began their observation. At 05:20, they observed a red object, estimated to be the size of a first-magnitude star, which remained stationary for approximately 30 seconds before moving slowly in a perfectly horizontal, north-south trajectory. A second object was observed at 05:30, described as having the brightness of a first-magnitude star and moving with the speed of a trans-continental aircraft. A third object was sighted at 05:40, which followed an elliptical trajectory before disappearing. The report notes that the film was developed by Caubi de Alencar. The observers concluded, based on their experience and the film evidence, that the objects were not known celestial bodies.
