Relatório No 1 (Period 8/6 to 1/7 of 1969)

This report, authored by Professor Angelo Heleodoro dos Santos, details a UFO observation conducted between June 9 and July 1, 1969, in the Bebedouro region of Pedro Leopoldo, Brazil. The group of observers, which included a military officer and an attorney, traveled to the farm of Colonel Aristides Salgado following reports of strange phenomena. On the morning of June 9, at approximately 03:30, the group began their observation. At 05:20, a farm hand named José Honório alerted the group to a red object. The object appeared to be the size of a star and remained stationary for 30 seconds before moving slowly in a horizontal, north-south direction. Later, at 05:40, a second object was observed moving horizontally at a speed estimated to be that of a transcontinental airplane, eventually following an elliptical trajectory before disappearing. The observers utilized a Crown-8mm camera with AGFA-100 ASA film. The film was developed by Caubi de Alencar. The report concludes that, based on consultations with technical experts in photography and cinematography, the objects captured on film could not be identified as any known celestial body. The observers noted that they were subjected to intense cold during the event, which caused eye irritation and tremors while filming.
