Relatório ONI 002 — Chácara Emmes, Bauru, 19 September 1968

This report, designated as number 002 and dated September 19, 1968, documents an Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (ONI) sighting by Luiz Nitolo, a 39-year-old caretaker at Chácara Emmes in Bauru, Brazil. The witness, described as having a strong physical build and normal psychological profile, observed the object at approximately 2300 hours. The object was described as resembling two deep plates joined at the mouth, measuring 8 to 10 meters in diameter, and appearing dark in color. It featured a fervent yellow/light band in its center and a row of blue lights on its upper section. The object was observed at ground level in a soccer field on the property. According to the report, the object performed a small, smooth ascent, moved transversally, stopped briefly over a light pole, and then produced a sound described as a small explosion similar to a percussion cap before moving away rapidly. The witness, who was carrying a .22 caliber revolver at the time, noted that this was his second sighting of the same individual/object, though he did not initially connect it to a previous event (case 001).
