Expediente Número 761112: Avistamiento de Fenómenos Extraños en la Base Aérea de Talavera

This document is an administrative file (Expediente 761112) compiled by the Spanish Air Force (Ejército del Aire) regarding an alleged UFO sighting at the Talavera Air Base in Badajoz on November 12, 1976. The soldiers reported that the figure had long arms and diffuse limbs. Upon attempting to challenge the figure, the soldiers fired between 40 and 50 rounds from their Z-62 submachine guns. They reported that the figure disappeared instantly, similar to a television screen turning off, and that no bullet impacts were found on the nearby wall. Following the incident, soldier José María Trejo experienced recurring vision loss and physical symptoms, leading to his transfer to the Air Force Hospital in Madrid. The file documents repeated attempts by the military to verify these claims through internal inquiries and consultations with the Base and the DRISDE (General Directorate of Informative and Social Relations of Defense). Despite these efforts, the official conclusion reached by the Air Force is that there is no record of the incident in the files of the Estado Mayor del Aire (EMA).
