Red Light Darting Around - Victoria, BC - May 1970

She observed a red, basketball-sized light that pulsated and darted rapidly in the sky, comparing its movement to a fish in water. She noted that the object made no sound and moved below the tree tops before cruising slowly toward the south and disappearing. Her mother also witnessed the object's disappearance. The letter further mentions a separate sighting reported by a friend of her mother, involving a red light with a tail-like appearance observed through binoculars at 9:30 PM the previous night. Ms. Brown concludes by expressing interest in a petition to the United Nations and offering to distribute 30 questionnaires for the magazine's survey.
