This document is a declassified military intelligence file (Expediente 690208) from the Spanish Air Force (Ejército del Aire) regarding an Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP) sighting on February 8, 1969. The primary witness, a 44-year-old telecommunications engineer, was driving with his wife from the 'Las Brisas' urbanization toward Sacedón, Guadalajara, at 20:30 hours. He reported observing a spherical object moving at a low altitude (under 300 meters) and low speed. The object was described as having a flaming red front, a silver body, and a blue trail. The sighting lasted approximately 5 to 6 seconds before the object disappeared suddenly over the reservoir without being obscured by terrain. The witness, noted for his balanced character, stopped at a gas station to ask if others had seen it, but received negative responses. The intelligence section of the Air Operational Command (Mando Operativo Aéreo) investigated the report, cross-referencing it with other sightings reported in the press on the same date in Daimiel and Ciudad Real. Based on the coincidence of time, date, and the nature of the phenomenon reported from distant locations, the official conclusion was that the object was likely a meteoric phenomenon. The file was subsequently declassified on April 30, 1993.
