Project 10073 Record — Oshkosh, Wisconsin, January 1967

This document contains a record of a UFO sighting reported by a civilian in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, in January 1967. The witness reported observing nine white circular objects at approximately 7:40 A.M. while looking out of a front window. The witness initially believed the objects were clouds, but after ten minutes, they observed that the objects had disappeared while the surrounding clouds remained. The witness submitted a letter to Project Blue Book at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base requesting information. The Air Force, through the Foreign Technology Division, responded on April 14, 1967, stating that the information provided was insufficient for a scientific evaluation. The Air Force requested that the witness complete an attached FTD Form 164 and return it for further review. The file includes the original project record form, the official response from Colonel James C. Manatt, the witness's original letter, and a hand-drawn sketch of the objects.
