This document is a Project 10073 record detailing a UFO sighting reported by a civilian housewife in Winter Park, Florida, on November 19, 1966. The witness reported observing a round, orange, fluorescent object, described as being the size of a grapefruit, while driving home at approximately 2345 hours. She claimed the object was suspended at a 45-degree angle, between 1000 and 2000 feet in the distance, and that she viewed it steadily for two minutes before losing sight of it as her car passed underneath. The investigating officer, Major Peter D. Sacco of the 1360th Air Base Group, conducted a follow-up investigation by driving the same route. He noted that the road was lined with large trees that would have obscured the witness's vision and concluded that it was improbable she could have maintained control of her vehicle while observing the sky. Major Sacco noted that the witness was nervous and evasive during questioning, and that she attributed the sighting to divine intervention. His final assessment was that the witness had seen nothing more than a reflection of some sort and recommended that the case not be pursued further.
