UNRELIABLE REPORT. Venus at 9h47.23 on 1 Oct. Not visible therefore witness was not observing Venus unless time is in error. At 0500 Local 2 Oct Venus was at 9h 51m51. The sun was at 12 32.24 rising about one hour later, and an object less bright than Venus would not be bright and flashing at a reference point from Venus when it was at a lesser magnitude. Mars and Jupiter are likewise not visible in the South at the reported time. Case regarded as an unreliable report.
