Yellowhead Highway UFO

This document is a personal account provided by Bruce R. Walker regarding a UFO sighting that occurred during the summer of 1963. Walker, an avid follower of UFO reports, describes an incident involving himself and two friends while they were traveling north on the old Yellowhead road near Valemount, British Columbia. According to the report, the group was driving at approximately 60 to 70 miles per hour when a discus-shaped object with a bluish hue appeared to their left, positioned about 100 yards ahead and just above the tree line. The object was observed moving from west to east at a speed significantly slower than that of an aircraft. As the object passed in front of their vehicle, the car experienced a sudden loss of power, causing it to come to a near-dead stop despite the driver's attempts to accelerate. Once the object had passed, the vehicle regained its normal functionality. Walker estimates the object was 50 to 60 feet in diameter and 8 to 10 feet thick, with tapering edges. The sighting occurred late at night, between 11:00 PM and midnight, under clear skies with minimal traffic. Walker concludes his account by expressing his belief that UFOs are intelligently controlled entities originating from outside of Earth and requests that others with similar experiences come forward.
