Project 10073 Record Card: Sighting in Uruguay, 31 October 1958

The witness reported no sound associated with the object and noted no electromagnetic effects or physiological impacts. The official evaluation by ATIC concluded that there was insufficient data to determine the nature of the object. While some initial reports from the C.J.n.V.I suggested the object might have been a balloon, this could not be confirmed, and the case was ultimately filed as having insufficient data for a definitive evaluation.
