The witnesses described the object as a large, grey, cigar-shaped craft with a horizontal crosspiece on its tail, resembling an aircraft elevator, and noted that it appeared to be a large jet aircraft without wings. The object was observed flying at a high rate of speed just above the treetops, accompanied by a loud swishing sound.
