Project 10073 Record Card - 20 September 1958 Sighting

This document is a Project 10073 record card and associated teletype correspondence regarding a UFO sighting that occurred on September 20, 1958, at 2125Z near the George Washington Bridge in New York. The witness, a civilian, reported observing two irregularly round, yellowish objects moving in a westerly direction. The objects were described as being positioned one ahead of the other, approximately 100 yards apart, at the same level. Notable features reported by the witness included flashing lights on the ends of the objects and vapor spurting from their sides. The observation lasted for approximately three minutes. The witness noted that they had previously observed a similar incident at the same location. Meteorological data for the area indicated that the sky was apparently overcast. Military authorities, specifically Detachment 1 of the 26th Air Division, processed the report.
