Project 10073 Record Cards and Related Correspondence

This document consists of a series of Project 10073 record cards and associated military teletype messages detailing three separate Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) sightings reported in Pueblo, Colorado, during September 1956. The first incident, occurring on 1 September 1956, involved four round objects with red and green flashing lights that remained relatively stationary for two hours. These were observed through binoculars and were officially concluded to be the stars Vega, Alioth, Dubhe, and Capella. The second incident, reported on 17 September 1956, involved a single oblong white object, described as the size of a basketball at arm's length. The witnesses, an employee of the Pueblo Ordinance Depot and a housewife, observed the object for two minutes as it traveled from the east to the southwest. The official evaluation determined this to be an aircraft. The third incident, occurring on 24 September 1956, involved a single round object described as the size of a washtub at arm's length. This object was observed for thirty seconds as it traveled north. This sighting was also evaluated as an aircraft. The documentation includes formal military communications from the 462nd AISS at Ent Air Force Base, signed by 2/LT Joseph A. Machyowsky, which provide technical descriptions of the objects, the observers' locations, and the meteorological conditions at the time of the sightings. The reports consistently follow the standard format for Project 10073, emphasizing the systematic collection and evaluation of UAP data by the Air Technical Intelligence Center during this period.
