Project 10073 Record Card — Sighting Report, Pueblo, Colorado, 14 June 1962

The witness, a 15-year-old female, reported observing a light, dimmer than stars, appearing white with a white vapor trail. The object approached from the East, then turned North and West. The witness noted that the object made no sound and appeared smaller than an aircraft. The observation lasted approximately three minutes. The witness also mentioned a previous sighting on June 11, 1962, which she described as identical in detail. The witness explicitly stated her belief in flying saucers and maintained that the object was not an airplane, comet, cloud, or meteorite. The official Air Force evaluation concluded that the object was an aircraft, noting that the flight characteristics, speed, and duration of the sighting were consistent with aircraft speeds and the presence of a contrail.
