UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECTS OVER MOROCCO AND FRENCH WEST AFRICA

On 3 July 1952, an eyewitness in Dakar reported a flat, tapered object emitting bluish and reddish flames, moving southward at an altitude of 1,500 meters. Subsequent reports from Morocco include sightings of flying saucers by policemen at Had Kourt on 12 July, and a blue-green, ball-shaped object observed by inhabitants of Fedala on 13 July. Other reports describe a yellow flying disk near Louis Gentil, three white fires seen by inhabitants of Chichaoua, and a luminous object observed by forty persons near Casablanca. The final report mentions a blue, phosphorescent, ovoid object, estimated to be 20 meters long, rising rapidly from the ground in the Daiet Aoua region.
