UFO's OBSERVED OVER NORWAY

This document, identified as FDD Note 891 from March 1959, provides a summary of a report originally published in the Oslo Conservative newspaper Aftenposten on 16 March 1959. The report details a sighting of unidentified aerial phenomena that occurred on the evening of 12 March 1959 near Bergen, Norway. According to the witness, Birger Storesund of Storesund, five bright objects were observed crossing the sky from north to south. The first object was sighted at 2010 hours and took approximately two minutes to traverse the sky before disappearing below the horizon. The witness compared the size and appearance of the objects to Soviet sputniks. Four additional objects followed the first. The witness noted that the objects were observed using binoculars and that no sound was emitted by them. Notably, Storesund's dog, which typically reacts to the presence of aircraft, showed no reaction to these objects. The report also mentions that several of the witness's neighbors also observed the phenomena.
