Sighting Report: Norrland, Sweden, 08-01

This document, identified as report number 91 from the news agency TT, details two separate sightings of 'space projectiles' (rymdprojektiler) in the Norrland region of Sweden on a Thursday, August 1st. In the first incident, seven to eight witnesses observed a metallic, cigar-shaped object for at least five minutes. The object, which appeared similar to an aircraft, shone white in the afternoon sun, traveled at a low altitude, and moved silently before disappearing behind a mountain. The witnesses estimated the distance to the object to be between 6 and 8 kilometers. In a second incident occurring in central Norrland on the same Thursday evening, two witnesses observed two additional space projectiles traveling out over the sea. The first of these flew at a higher altitude and exploded over the water, leaving a large, clearly luminous yellow-white tail. The second object, also described as cigar-shaped, appeared more luminous and subsequently exploded as well. The witnesses were unable to provide any information regarding the size of the objects.
