This document, dated Friday, July 12, 1957, is a press report (nr 30) detailing multiple sightings of unidentified aerial phenomena in the Mariestad and Lidköping regions of Sweden. The first incident occurred on a Tuesday at 14:30, when a resident of Lyrestad observed a flying object with a silver-shining tail passing over Otterslätten at an altitude of 100 meters, moving in a southeastern direction at a 35-degree angle. It was speculated that the object may have crashed in the terrain between Otterslätten and the Hova-Älgarås line. A second report from a landowner named Ejnar Andersson in Otterslätten describes observing a glittering object, approximately one meter long with a smoke tail, between 07:30 and 08:00 on the previous Thursday. This object was initially seen near a commercial aircraft before separating and moving in a northeastern direction. A third report from the Lidköping area describes individuals near Dalaholm observing a winged projectile on Thursday afternoon. This object, described as having a line that shone like copper and a sphere trailing behind it, was heard humming as it passed approximately 30 meters above them. The projectile reportedly crashed into a rye field, where no investigations had yet been conducted at the time of the report.
