NUFORC Sightings Report: 10/1956

This document is a compilation of four UFO sighting reports from October 1956, sourced from the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC). The first incident occurred on October 15, 1956, at 21:30 in Mt. Vernon, Indiana, where a disk-shaped, luminescent object was observed leaving a trail while moving from east to north on a clear night. The second incident took place on October 15, 1956, at 01:00 in Mechra Bel Ksire, Morocco. In this instance, Air Defense radar detected an object exhibiting great speed and maneuverability, located east of Gibraltar and north of the African coast. The third report describes an event on October 10, 1956, at 21:00 in Edna, Texas, involving a circle-shaped object; the witness account notes that the witness's older brother and twin sister were leaving the local theater at the time. The final report is from October 1, 1956, at 19:00 in Newport, New Hampshire, describing a rectangular object characterized as a disk with a glass center section and flames visible behind the glass.
