A WARNING TO ALL / THE RETURN OF THE "CYCLOPES"?

This document consists of two parts: an editorial by Fernand Lagarde, editor of the French journal Lumières dans la Nuit (May-June 1982), and a report by Gordon Creighton regarding a UFO incident in Uruguay. In the editorial, Lagarde expresses frustration with the lack of transparency from official bodies like GEPAN, arguing that there is a deliberate 'policy of silence' designed to discourage researchers and hide the truth about UFO phenomena. He asserts that the public is being misled and that independent researchers must continue their work despite official obstruction. The second part of the document details a 1980 incident in the Department of San José, Uruguay, investigated by the Argentinian group CEFANC. A rural blacksmith, Juan Froche Jiacola, reported two young, thin-necked humanoids attempting to steal sun-dried beef from his property. During the encounter, Froche sustained burns on his hand when he attempted to close his door against one of the entities. His wife, Ana Parodi de Froche, also witnessed the aftermath. The investigators noted that Froche had a vertical scar on his forehead, which he attributed to a past surgery. Medical examination by Dr. Ramón Nuñez confirmed the presence of burns on the witness's hand. CEFANC investigators remained non-committal regarding the authenticity of the case, noting that they were unable to verify the claims definitively.
