Part 4: UFO Crash/Retrievals: Status Report III – Amassing The Evidence

Stringfield's 'Status Report III: Amassing The Evidence,' originally written in June 1982. The report is part of a series of seven status reports authored by Stringfield between 1978 and 1994 concerning UFO crash and retrieval incidents. The text includes a specific account from a USAF Captain stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. The Captain describes an incident at Gray Army Airfield (Robert Gray Field) where a pilot, forced to land on a dusty field, observed an approaching jeep with armed military police. The pilot then witnessed a section of land separating like 'giant sliding doors,' with the vegetation remaining intact, to reveal a large corridor beneath. Additionally, the document provides context regarding a USAF Colonel identified as 'RC,' the founder of a UFO research group called APRON. According to the text, RC reported that his fiancé's car was forced off the road in Las Vegas and his apartment was burglarized, with Stringfield's books being the specific items stolen. RC later moved to Pensacola, Florida, where his fiancé was killed in a hit-and-run car crash. RC reportedly agreed to meet three men at an airport to discuss UFOs but subsequently ceased all contact with Stringfield.
