Occurrence Report with Hotel Traffic - Curitiba, October 22, 2000

This document is a confidential occurrence report filed with the Brazilian Air Force's Aerospace Defense Command (COMDABRA) regarding an aerial sighting on October 22, 2000. The incident occurred at 14:20 Z in the vicinity of Praça Rui Barbosa in Curitiba, Paraná. Two witnesses, identified as Sgt. Garcia and M. Amaral of the Military Police, reported observing two bright, silver, rounded objects. The objects were described as being the size of a 'bean grain' and were observed performing maneuvers while traveling from north to south at an estimated altitude of 10,000 meters. The sighting lasted approximately 15 minutes under clear weather conditions. A secondary witness, Emerson Rodrigues de Souza, who holds a degree in anthropology, was also noted as having observed the objects. The report was received by Sgt. Gildiley at CINDACTA-II. No physical evidence, radar contact, or photographic documentation was recorded in relation to the event.
