This document is a Project 10073 record detailing a UFO sighting reported by an amateur astronomer in Grosse Ile, Michigan, in February 1969. The witness, a school student, observed a single, self-luminous white object while using a telescope. The object was described as appearing like a round lens or mirror blank, moving in a straight line toward the SSE for a duration of approximately three minutes. The witness estimated the speed of the object at 30 miles per minute. The sighting concluded when the object moved behind the witness's garage. The witness noted that while observing the phenomenon, their hand became cold. The official conclusion reached by the evaluating agency, FTD at Wright-Patterson AFB, was that the object was a 'Probable SATELLITE'.
