Shape-Shifting UFO South Of Quesnel

On the evening of June 10, 1968, a witness identified as Willa Peat, a 20-ish-year-old invoice clerk at a lumber company, observed an unidentified aerial object south of Quesnel, British Columbia. The sighting occurred within a ring of hills surrounding the town. The object was described as being approximately 6 feet long and 2.5 feet wide. Initially rectangular in shape, the object underwent a series of transformations: it appeared like a 'big open book,' then shifted to a '1/2 circle,' and subsequently resembled a 'tadpole' complete with a head and tail. Following these changes, the object diminished in size and disappeared. It later reappeared higher in the sky, appearing to be composed of 'parts,' before the components merged and the object vanished once more. The report was submitted to APRO by Ruth M. Pennington, who provided a General Delivery address in Quesnel. Although the witness was initially hesitant to come forward, expressing that she felt 'silly,' she ultimately consented to the use of her name in the report.
