This document contains a Project 10073 record regarding a UFO sighting reported by a civilian in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, in November 1967. The witness reported observing a yellow-white object that appeared like a bright star for approximately 20 minutes. The object was described as remaining relatively stationary, though it appeared to oscillate about a point. The witness, a 15-year-old, provided a sketch indicating a triangular shape and movement. The Air Force investigation, led by Major Hector Quintanilla, Jr., concluded that the object was likely the star Deneb. This conclusion was reached by comparing the witness's reported position of the object (Northwest at 55 degrees elevation) with the known positions of celestial bodies at that time, specifically noting that Deneb was in the Northwest at about 45 degrees elevation.
