UFO Observation Report — Denver, Colorado, 4 July 1967

This document contains a series of records regarding a UFO sighting reported in Denver, Colorado, on July 4, 1967. The primary witness, a student, reported observing two triangular objects that were initially together before splitting and moving in opposite directions—one northeast and one southwest. The objects were described as white, changing to red, blue, yellow, and green, and appeared to waver in flight. The observation lasted for 30 minutes. One object eventually disappeared to the north, while the other remained stationary to the south. The report was processed by the Foreign Technology Division (FTD) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Colonel James C. Manatt, Director of Technology and Subsystems, issued a letter to the observer on July 13, 1967, stating that the initial information was insufficient for a scientific evaluation and requesting the completion of FTD Form 164. Internal notes indicate that the form was sent but not returned after 30 days, leading to the conclusion that there was insufficient data for evaluation.
