Project 10073 Record — UFO Observation, 26 Feb 67, Livonia, Michigan

This document constitutes a record from Project 10073 regarding a UFO observation reported in Livonia, Michigan, on February 26, 1967. The witness, identified as a craftsman at a credit union, reported observing a round object on two separate occasions that day, once at 1:30 PM and again at 8:00 PM. The witness described the object as appearing round, with light visible around its exterior. The object was reported to have moved in a westerly direction and was visible for approximately half an hour during the first sighting and approximately one hour during the second. The witness used 7x35 binoculars during the observation. The report includes photographic evidence, specifically four 8x10 black and white photographs and three 3x4 black and white negatives. In a letter dated March 17, 1967, Colonel James C. Manatt of the Foreign Technology Division informed the witness that the information provided was insufficient for a scientific evaluation and requested that the witness complete an attached FTD Form 164 to provide further details.
