Project 10073 Record — Portsmouth, New Hampshire, 23 March 1966

This document contains a Project Blue Book sighting report regarding an unidentified aerial phenomenon observed on March 23, 1966, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The primary witness was a 13-year-old student who reported seeing a round object, approximately the size of an airplane, traveling in a straight line toward the north at an estimated altitude of 2,000 feet. The witness described the object as having blue and white lights and noted that it emitted a sound similar to a telephone busy signal. The witness estimated the speed of the object to be between 300 and 400 miles per hour. The report includes a detailed questionnaire completed by the witness on April 7, 1966, which features a sketch of the object described as two saucers facing each other with a bubble on top of each.
