Project 10073 Record — Palos Verdes, California, 8 August 1965

This document contains the official Project Blue Book record for a sighting reported on 8 August 1965 in Palos Verdes, California. Two youths, aged 14 and 15, reported observing a round object with red, white, and blue flashing lights moving back and forth across the Catalina area at speeds they estimated to be faster than a conventional aircraft. The observation lasted approximately 10 minutes and was conducted with the aid of a telescope. The report includes a standard U.S. Air Force technical information questionnaire completed by the witnesses, along with internal military correspondence.
