Project 10073 Record — Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, 2 August 1965

This document contains a Project 10073 record regarding a civilian sighting of an unidentified aerial phenomenon in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on August 2, 1965. The witness reported observing a dark blue, almost black, disc-shaped object in the northeastern sky at approximately 1515 hours. The object was described as being at an elevation of 75 degrees and appeared smaller than a dime or a pinhead. The observation lasted for approximately 10 minutes, during which the object was seen moving slowly and veering from the side. The weather conditions at the time included heavy clouds, fog, mist, or light rain. The witness reported that the object eventually disappeared from sight by getting smaller and smaller. A second witness, Annie Duff, was also noted as having observed the object. The official conclusion recorded by the Air Force was that the object was an aircraft (A/C), noting that there was no data presented to indicate the object was not an aircraft.
