This document is an incoming Air Force message dated 1 August 1965, detailing a UFO sighting that occurred in Spokane, Washington, on 28 July 1965. The report describes two objects observed by a civilian police officer and a military member from the 929th Fighter Squadron at Fairchild AFB. The first object was described as round and baseball-sized, while the second was described as oblong, changing to round, and approximately the size of a beach ball. Witnesses reported the objects oscillating like a pendulum and, when viewed through a 60-power telescope, exhibiting a 'spider-web' appearance and rapid clockwise rotation. The objects changed colors, shifting between bluish-white, green, silver, and blue. The observation lasted over an hour. The Air Force Intelligence Division, after consulting with local approach control and towers, concluded that the objects were likely weather or special balloons, noting the presence of a low-level temperature inversion from the surface to 1,000 feet, which may have distorted the appearance of the objects.
