The witness described the object as appearing like a 3-cell flashlight at 100 feet, which exhibited a slow upward movement and gradually grew dimmer before disappearing as the sky brightened with dawn. The witness reported no sound and noted that the object was slightly larger than a match head held at arm's length. The sighting occurred outdoors under clear, dry weather conditions.
