Carlson, who was lying on a beach at the time, described the object as a bright, star-like light that was initially yellow-white and later shifted to a bluish-white hue. He noted that the object exhibited erratic behavior, including changes in orbit, speed, and direction, and appeared to wobble. He estimated the object's altitude to be 50,000 feet or higher.
