Project 10073 Record Card — Moorcroft, Wyoming, 13 April 1963

This document file contains records regarding a UFO sighting reported by a civilian in Moorcroft, Wyoming, on the night of 13 April 1963. The witness described observing a flying object that appeared like a star, moving at a fairly fast speed toward the southeast. The observation lasted approximately 15 minutes. The sighting was formally investigated by the Foreign Technology Division of the Air Force Systems Command. Following an analysis of satellite tracking data, the Air Force concluded that the object was the Echo I satellite, which was confirmed to be over Wyoming at 1938 hours on the date in question.
