Project 10073 Record Card and Report of U.F.O. Sighting — Granby, Quebec, October 14, 1962

On October 14, 1962, a Senior Engineering Technician in Granby, Quebec, observed three unidentified objects moving from west to east. The witness, who was inside his home, described the objects as solid, white, and elliptical, resembling an oblate spheroid or lenticular shape on edge. He estimated their altitude to be between 6,000 and 12,000 feet and their length to be approximately 200 feet. The objects were observed for 5 to 6 seconds each, appearing at 14-second intervals. The witness noted that the objects were sharply outlined, emitted no sound, and lacked any visible sheen or reflection, comparing them to solid wooden objects coated in flat-white paint. The objects eventually disappeared behind a 6/10 cloud cover. The witness, who had previously seen a cigar-shaped object years prior, expressed his belief that these were not atmospheric phenomena. The report was forwarded to the Foreign Technology Division at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The official conclusion recorded on the Project 10073 record card suggested the objects were likely three aircraft on Route Green 1, flying at 14-second intervals.
