This document file contains a Project 10073 record card and associated correspondence regarding a UFO sighting reported in Albany, New York, on October 7, 1961. A civilian witness wrote a letter to President John F. Kennedy describing an unidentified flying object that made a noise like a 'flying saucer' and displayed a red light. The witness claimed there were many other witnesses to the event. The letter was forwarded through official channels to the Department of the Air Force.
