This document consists of a Project 10073 record card and a follow-up correspondence regarding a UFO sighting that occurred in Paterson, New Jersey, in October 1960. The witness, a student at Eastside High School, reported observing two orange, disc-shaped objects, each roughly the size of a silver dollar. The objects were described as moving in a 'V' formation that was both inverted and reversed. According to the witness, the objects were initially far apart, moved very close together, and then separated. The entire observation lasted between 10 and 20 seconds. The witness noted that the objects were visible against the night sky, moving from the West toward the East in the direction of New York City. The witness explicitly stated there was no sound and no discernible features or details on the objects. The report was filed approximately four months after the incident, as the witness had been unaware of the proper procedure for reporting such information to the Department of the Air Force until they obtained a pamphlet. The investigating agency, ATIC, recorded the sighting and concluded that the objects were likely a meteor.
