The witness, a clerk-typist, described an egg-shaped object, approximately the size of a basketball, that appeared white and was observed for 30 minutes. The witness noted that the object was revolving, appeared to have points sticking out, and emitted red sparks upon disappearing. Military investigators performed an astronomical plot for this second sighting, which determined that the planet Venus was at the exact location reported at the time of the observation.
